After painting Mrs. Kim and Coco, she asked me if I’d like some fried chickens for giving her a nice framed print of the work. Instead, I asked her to help me get together her friends inside the shop while they were drinking for the next painting.

She contacted me on a Saturday night and said I could come over. This was my 19th oil painting up to that point and only the first with a bottle of soju!
