Chaewon and I took a trip out of Seoul into neighboring Guri, Gyeongido. We walked through Guri traditional market looking for some cool subjects. The vegetable stand was full of color, detail, texture and some cool old signage.

The woman running the shop couldn’t have been more friendly. She had a smile on her face the whole time. Her friend in the corner clipping green beans was not as enthusiastic, but I managed to get a few shots of her with my video. Sneaky. This painting turned out to be one of my favorites. I like the bright colors of the vegetables framed by the grays and browns at the top and bottom of the canvas.
