This painting is a tribute to the hard working fellows who have built Seoul. Furthermore, it’s a documentation of the iconic ajushi style 아져씨 스타일, a hallmark embodiment of Korean culture through these American eyes. This painting depicts the workers of a current construction project along Itaewon Road, adjacent to the wood stairs of the former Itaewon Land Sauna.
