This was a transitional piece for me, a move out of digital painting and on to the canvas. Raena is a tattoo customer of mine and agreed to model for this painting. I wanted to fill the canvas with iconic details of Korean drinking culture.

We walked in to a local GS25 near Thursday Party in Itaewon to get the reference photos. The store clerk yelled at us for playing with the products. We had to hightail it out of there!
